Available Positions
Currently, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati is looking for individuals to help in the following capacity. Please click on the yellow links for position descriptions of available opportunities:
- ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR / TEACHER: introduces a new hobby or activity to small groups of club members such as digital arts, knitting, photography, or scrapbook.
- ARTS & CULTURAL ENRICHMENT INSTRUCTOR: assists or instructs Club members in arts and cultural enrichment activities especially in the fine arts and photography.
- CAREER/GUIDANCE COUNSELOR: promotes higher education by helping teens prepare for the SATs and ACTs, apply for college, and research scholarships and grants.
- CLERICAL SUPPORT: help the Administrative Office and Clubs with basic clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, data entry as assigned, mail preparation, copying and collating.
- COACH / P.E. ASSISTANT: assist physical education programs in developing skills and techniques for boys and girls in sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and football. Must be knowledge in the sport you are assisting in.
- Field Trip Chaperon - All Sites
- FOOD PROGRAM ATTENDANT: assist Club staff with serving lunch or dinner during the day and cleaning up afterwards.
- GAMES ROOM ASSISTANT: helps Games Room Instructors coordinate and supervise a wide variety of recreational games for Club members. Games include pool, ping pong, board games, etc.
- SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEER: works with the Director of Community Affairs to help at various Boys & Girls Clubs functions, such as the Achievement Luncheon and Arby's Charity Tour, as well as assisting in a variety of community events.
- STORY READER: engages 6-8 year old Club members in positive learning by reading to/with them age appropriate books.
- TUTOR/HOMEWORK ASSISTANT: assist Club members of all ages with homework on a 1-on-1 or group setting in a variety of subject area or help Club members develop and enhance their skills in reading, math, science, or other subjects.
