At the Boys & Girls Clubs we recognize that today’s organizations are faced with many requests for sponsorship opportunities. That's why we have developed an Annual Sponsorship Guide that outlines all of our events for 2010 in an effort to streamline the donation process. The document provides an opportunity for your organization to commit at one time to support a variety of our events in 2010. We hope that this will eliminate the need for multiple requests for support throughout the year. Also, we hope that it allows you to better plan for your donation allocations in 2009.
A variety of “Investment Packages” are outlined in the Guide to allow you to support all of our events at varying levels. Additionally, an Al a Carte menu is provided if you choose to support only one of our specific events.
A brief overview of our main events planned for 2010 include:
- The BASH –February 27, 2010 It's Vegas Baby at the Syndicate in Newport; 350 attendees; casino entertainment, silent auction, Texas Hold'em tournament, exciting raffle items.
- The Annual Achievement Luncheon – planned for April 2010, The Achievement Luncheon honors the local Youth of the Year Finalists from each of our Boys & Girls Clubs; attended by over 500 business professionals, featured keynote speaker.
- Arby’s Charity Tour Golf Outing – planned for June 2010, This exceptional golf outing features 18 holes of golf, shotgun start, dinner/reception accompanied by one of a kind live auction and raffle prizes.
- The Boys & Girls Club Rally- planned for June 2010, this event involves a phone-a-thon and Rally on the square to help raise money and awareness for the Clubs.
- The Stock Market Challenge- planned for September 2010, this new event allows teams of four to compete in a stock market simulation challenge.
- Holiday Parties- The holidays are fun and exciting time at the Boys & Girls Clubs. Corporations can adopt a Club to help make the holidays special for Club Members by providing gifts, helping plan a holiday party, and organizing holiday activities.
