Stock Market Challenge

Are you up for the challenge?
This NEW action-filled fundraiser has teams of four competing to see who can grow their mock stock portfolio and create the highest net worth. Teams are issued $500,000 of stock from 26 fictitious companies.  Each trading day lasts eighty seconds—two months of trading is condensed into one exciting evening. On-site traders with PDA’s make buying and selling instantaneous so trading is fast, furious and fun.  Because fictitious world events and industry developments affect stock values, you will be on your toes reacting to the market’s ups and downs.  The cost for participation is $1,000 per team or $500 per young proffessional team.  Appetizers and cocktails will be provided to sustain you during the challenge.

Proceeds support the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati who helps over 12,000 kids each year stay off the street and engaged in positive activities. During the afternoon, Boys & Girls Clubs teens will compete in a student version of the event where they will learn about the stock market and financial literacy.

When: September 2010 (dateTBD)
