Program Sponsorship
In addition to sponsoring Special Events corporations are invited to sponsor Club programs.
Club Programs Include:
Adopt-a-Club.
Companies can sponsor one of our Club sites and provide ongoing support
of that Club through financial donations, in-kind donations, and
volunteer programs.
Club Tech.
Club Tech teaches youth essential digital literacy skills through fun,
interactive lessons. Club members are encouraged to apply their tech
skills and create original digital media such as web sites, music,
movies and photography as part of Club Tech’s Digital Arts Festivals
which are held each year.
Project Learn.
Project Learn provides educational assistance on a daily basis to
children in need of additional academic support through tutoring,
homework help, collaboration with schools, and fun "high-yield" learning
activities.
Money Matters. This
financial literacy program was designed specifically to help teens
(ages 13 to18) expand their knowledge of money management and learn the
skills that lead to financial independence and well-being. The Money
Matters: Make It Count program consists of five components: Teen
Personal Finance Guide, Program Facilitator's Guide, Money Matters Web
site, Schwab eEmployee Volunteer Program and the Money Matters Awards.
Smart Girls.
SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and
self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental need
of girls ages 8-12 and 13-18. Through dynamic sessions, highly
participatory activities, field trips and mentoring opportunities with
adult women, Club girls explore their own and societal attitudes and
values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit,
getting good health care and developing positive relationships with
peers and adults.
Passport to Manood.
Passport to Manhood promotes and teaches responsibility in Club boys
ages 11-18. Passport to Manhood consists of 14 sessions, each of which
concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive
activities. Each Club participant receives his own "passport" to
underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and
growth.
Career Launch.
Career Launch encourages Club Members ages 13-18 to assess their skills
and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and
prepare to join our nation's ever changing work force.
