BRENT SEELMEYER, PRESIDENT & CEO

Brent was named President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati in November of 2012. His previous work was exclusively in the non-profit and higher education arena. Brent spent seven years as Executive Director of Cancer Family Care. Previously, he worked several years as Director of Development at Miami University, where he also served as Assistant Head Coach to the men's lacrosse team.

Brent has a love of philanthropy and service that has led him to take an active and engaged role in the local community. Currently Brent serves in various volunteer roles including: President-elect of the Leadership Council of Human Service Executives, Board Secretary for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Cincinnati Chapter, Board Treasurer for Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub, Board member of United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and Trustee at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Brent is also active in the Cincinnati Rotary Club. He has been recognized for his achievements, winning the Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 Award in 2011 and Venue Magazine’s Great Leaders Under 40 Award in 2012.  

Brent has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Xavier University. He lives in Pleasant Ridge with his wife Abigail, daughter Charlotte, and their two dogs, Gracie and Sasha. Brent enjoys travel, golf, playing drums, singing, and Tennessee Vols football.
