Teen Centers

Teens need their own space, their own dedicated staff, and most importantly  their own programming that supports their academic progress, planning for college and encourages development of their self-sufficiency skills. All of our free-standing slub sites now have operating teen centers. These teen centers provide club members, ages 13-18, with their own space to learn, play, and interact wtih other teens. Each center is furnished with a big screen T.V., couches, video games, computers, and other fun items aimed at attracting young adults inside the club and off the streets.

Youth of the Year: This award program is designed to promote and recognize service to Club and community, academic performance and contributions to family. Each year, one youth is chosen as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati Youth of the Year and is recognized annually at Achievement Luncheon.

taking an interest surveys, exploring careers, identifying training or college requirements, seeking out financial aid and playing skill-building games.

Money Matters: this financial literacy program was designed specifically to help teens expand their knowledge of money management and learn the skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
