Teen Programming

Teens need their own programming that supports their academic progress, career planning and development of life skills. All eight locations provide specific teen programming, however five Clubs have dedicated Teen Centers: Leblond in Over-the-Rhine, U.S. Bank in Avondale, Espy in Lower Price Hill, MSU in Covington and Lewis County in Vanceburg, KY.

Some of our Teen-oriented programs include:

Keystone Club: Members elect officers, choose their own activities and plan and implement community service projects.

Youth of the Year: This award program is designed to promote and recognize service to Club and community, academic performance and contributions to family. Each year, one youth is choosen as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati Youth of the Year and is recognized annually at Achievement Luncheon.

Career Launch: This program helps to prepare young adults for post high school education by
taking an interest surveys, exploring careers, identifing training or college requirements, seeking out financial aid and playing skill-building games.

Money Matters: this financial literacy program was designed specifically to help teens expand their knowledge of money management and learn the skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
