The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) marked a major milestone in October, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Larry & Rhonda Sheakley Club in Price Hill. The celebration, held Tuesday, October 21, brought together Club members, staff and longtime supporters to honor a decade of impact and unveil a newly renovated space inside the Sheakley Club as part of BGCGC’s A New Generation capital campaign.
Larry and Rhonda Sheakley, whose generosity and vision have empowered thousands of young people across the region, joined Club leaders and families to commemorate the occasion.
“This Club has become a cornerstone for the Price Hill community,” said Bill Bresser, CEO of BGCGC. “For ten years, it has provided a safe, supportive space where kids can learn, grow and discover their full potential. The Sheakleys’ continued commitment ensures that impact will last for generations.”
The celebration, which one 10-year-old member named Bailey called, “the best day ever,” featured pizza and ice cream trucks, carnival games, a DJ set from Kiss107’s JonJon and plenty of fun for all ages.
The Larry & Rhonda Sheakley Club, opened in 2014, continues to play a vital role in BGCGC’s mission to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
