​The story of the Dudley S. Taft Club began more than 65 years ago with the opening of the Fleischmann Club in Avondale in 1960. Forty years later, the site was reimagined as the Firstar Club, later known as the U.S. Bank Club, before being renamed the Dudley S. Taft Club in 2020 to honor Dudley Taft's extraordinary generosity and more than five decades of service to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati. Today, this latest renovation continues that legacy, ensuring the Club remains a vibrant place where Avondale's young people can learn, grow, and thrive for generations to come.
